Join Sharon M and members of the Miami Valley Outdoor Club for a brisk Tuesday hike at Taylorsville MetroPark. This fast-paced hike through hilly wooded terrain and along the Great Miami River lasts about an hour. Hike begins promptly at 4:10 so that everyone can finish before dark. Meet at the CCC shelter.
About Taylorsville MetroPark: Taylorsville MetroPark contains exceptional examples of mature upland forest with many spring wildflowers, second growth woodlands, natural succession areas, a few aging pine stands, a few managed grasslands, and extensive floodplain forests along the Great Miami River Corridor.
“ There was a good group tonight and weather was a little warmer. For this particular hike, this is a much quicker group, so be ready. This hike is more exercise than observation. ”
