Join Sharon M and members of the Miami Valley Outdoor Club for a brisk Tuesday hike at Taylorsville MetroPark. This fast-paced hike through hilly wooded terrain and along the Great Miami River lasts about an hour. Hike begins promptly at 4:10 so that everyone can finish before dark. Meet at the parking lot of the CCC shelter.
About Taylorsville MetroPark: Taylorsville MetroPark contains exceptional examples of mature upland forest with many spring wildflowers, second growth woodlands, natural succession areas, a few aging pine stands, a few managed grasslands, and extensive floodplain forests along the Great Miami River Corridor.
“ It Was an awesome hike, and it Was a killer two loops, and it was great group of hikers. I'm glad I was there. Thanks for doing this Sharon. Prettiest sunset I've seen for a while. ”
“ It was an awesome hike. The trees and waterways were beautiful with the snow. The snow added extra resistance for a great workout.
Thanks everyone for a great time. ”
