Join the Dayton Area Backpackers & Hikers group for an informal get together at Gander Mountain in Huber Heights. The Gander Mountain meeting room is reserved for our use from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.

At 7:00 pm there will be an short, informative presentation titled "The Ten Essentials For Day Hiking and Backpacking". Before you hit any trail, no matter how easy, no matter how short, no matter how close to home make sure you pack the ten essentials. Carry each one and know how to use them.

To get the 20% discount you must RSVP "yes or maybe" and show a Dayton Area Backpackers & Hikers card to the cashier. If you don’t have a card you can get one from Andy. This discount is not available to the public so make sure you RSVP "yes or maybe". Come early or stay late to go shopping. Note: Excludes firearms, ammo, motors, boats, gift cards and licenses.

This will probably be the last of our traditional indoor Get Togethers for the season as spring and Daylight Saving Time will soon be here.

    Yes, I will have plenty of cards on hand at Gander Mountain so you can get the 20% discount.

    Colin and Danette ... Andy usually has some cards the night of the Meetup. Just ask him for one. Keep in mind the 20% discount is only good for that night. The rest of the time we get a 15% discount.
