This is a "Get Out And Go" hike!

Join Sharon M and members of the Miami Valley Outdoor Club for a brisk Tuesday hike at Taylorsville MetroPark. This is a fast-paced hike through hilly wooded terrain and along the Great Miami River. The Hike begins promptly at 4:20pm. We will be completing the ~4 mile loop with detour in about 1 hour. Meet at the parking lot near the CCC shelter off Route 40.
We will be completing a 2nd loop on the orange trail starting around 5:30pm. Meeting at the CCC shelter. This loop will be at a moderate pace. Generally taking about 70-75 minutes to complete the 3.4 mile loop. These are conditioning hikes.

About Taylorsville MetroPark: Taylorsville MetroPark contains exceptional examples of mature upland forest with many spring wildflowers, second growth woodlands, natural succession areas, a few aging pine stands, a few managed grasslands, and extensive floodplain forests along the Great Miami River Corridor.
