Introduction
I love backpacking and hiking. I usually end up in the Red River Gorge in Kentucky. I would love to meet some people to backpack with and explore new places.
Do you enjoy backpacking or day hiking or both?
Both, but I am more interested in backpacking.
What do you enjoy most about backpacking or day hiking?
I love the peace and quiet. I don't like places that are overused or crowded. I am a minimalist backpacker and am very conscious of my imprint on the environment.
Where are your favorite areas for hiking in the Dayton area?
I love walking around Wegerzyn Gardens and going out to John Bryan in Yellow Springs.
Where are your favorite areas for backpacking or hiking outside of the Dayton area?
The Red River Gorge in KY

Just noticed you're a fan of the Red River Gorge area... I just spent the last few days there (came back this evening, in fact), and it's a beautiful area... unfortunately it was too hot/muggy to really enjoy it, but I'm looking forward to getting back there again when it's a little cooler.
