I like to hike with other people.
Do you enjoy backpacking or day hiking or both?
I do mostly day hiking, but have been slowly buying supplies for backpacking. Have done short trips backpacking.
What do you enjoy most about backpacking or day hiking?
I like being in the woods away from most civilization to get away. I love to be places not many others get to see and challenge my old self= physically.
Where are your favorite areas for hiking in the Dayton area?
Haven't explored too many areas= metro parks, John Bryan.
Where are your favorite areas for backpacking or hiking outside of the Dayton area?
Red River Gorge, Carter Caves, the Smokies, Shenandoahs, Yosemite- so far
